Jacob’s Dream was done in collaboration with Benjamin Bergery at Grace Cathedral’s Artist in Residence Program in San Francisco. The work consists of a ladder made out light. Together the rungs of the ladder present an image of figures ascending and descending the ladder. The image contained in the ladder has much lower resolution in the vertical dimension than in the horizontal dimension.
