Liz Walking

This work consists of suspended strings of LEDs which are varied in Resolution and cover completely three walls of a large room. On the front wall is an image of a woman walking created with the highest Resolution in the space. As the image wraps around from the front wall to the side walls the Resolution drastically decreases to the point of abstraction. The same image that is projected onto the front wall is projected onto the side walls but because of the low resolution only the movement is sensed by the viewers. As the viewers look at the front image of the figure they see the abstracted image on the side walls in their peripheral vision.
